Establishment of TurboTech
1989Developed first Ammonia Expander for Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC) application
1997Developed and manufactured steam turbine for saturated steam application for up to 3MW
1999Tested and approved Steam Turbine (ECT) at IIT – Madras, India
2000First ECT commissioned
2001First ECT exported
2005Delivered hundredth ECT
2006Setup dedicated Manufacturing and Research & Development facility
2007Expanded into the Chinese energy market
2007Developed and manufactured an ECT of 6MW capacity
